What is Environmental Systems Analysis?

Environmental Systems Analysis is a systematic research of the impact of human actions on the environment and ecosystems. It consists of the strategy of scientific search using mathematical methods and models within the framework of a systematized scientific approach to solving complex problems. System analysis organizes our knowledge of the object, that we can choose the necessary strategy for studying this object.
Environmental System Analysis includes the following methods - life cycle assessment (LCA), material flow analysis (MFA) and substance flow analysis (SFA), and environmental impact assessment (EIA).

Structure of Environmental Systems Analysis study programs

Environmental Systems Analysis can be taught as a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and PhD degree. Undergraduate study programs in Environmental Systems Analysis are rather basic. They include core courses in Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Geology, Physics and Process Engineering. Besides, all study programs in Environmental Systems Analysis include massive modules of Computer Sciences. Practical lessons are an important part of study program in Environmental Systems Analysis.
